Dr. Farida Sharan ND, is the founder and director of the School of Natural Medicine, and an educator, naturopath, iridologist, master herbalist, author, mystic yoga teacher, and international lecturer, retreat and seminar. Awarded a a gold medal and a doctorate from Medicine Alternativa in Denmark in 1987 for her contribution to natural medicine, Farida Sharan has been in private practice for thirty years, several of which were in a medical clinic in London, England where client progress was confirmed by medical tests. Farida Sharan is the author of ‘Iridology A Complete Guide to Diagnosing Through the Iris’, ‘Creative Menopause Illuminating Women¹s Health and Spirituality’, and ‘Herbs of Grace Becoming Independently Healthy’. She also co-authored the ‘Iridology Coloring Book’ and ‘Dictionary of Iridology’ with a School of Natural Medicine graduate.
Farida Sharan devotes herself to educating and supporting committed students of Self-Healing and naturopathy, writing, study and integration of the latest scientific and educational discoveries into creative healing, learning, evolutionary processes, and traveling the world.

Gitte Lassen is a Transformation Therapist and Codependence Counselor. Gitte Lassen passionately believes in the importance of being a living example. Her passion is to help people transform themselves and their lives. Gitte Lassen uses a variety of unique and creative approaches and formats to facilitate her clients’ growth and transformation in individual sessions, small groups, workshops and lectures. She has written extensively on various aspects of her work and have had articles published in several countries.
Gitte Lassen first got involved with Farida Sharan when seeking a way to heal her Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Gitte Lassen is co-director and teacher of the Living Foods module at Heilsumeistaraskólinn. She has completed several modules at the school and is currently completing her studies for the ND diploma.

Lilja Oddsdóttir studied Iridology and Natural Medicine with the School of Medicine 1997-2000 and graduated as Master Iridologist. She has added to it training in Divinity Touch Reflexology, Essential Oils Therapy and Living Food Teacher. Lilja Oddsdóttir studied Sclerology with Grand Medicine 2005 – 2006. From 2005 Lilja has worked as an Iridologist and teacher in a better way of living, doing classes in Living food and Essential Oils as well as giving introductions on Iridology and Sclerology.
Lilja Oddsdóttirs background is in kindergarten teaching. She fell in love with the healthy way of teaching in Waldorf/Rudolf Steiner pedagogic and handwork. Lilja Oddsdóttir is the co-director and teacher of basic modules of Iridology and Essential Oils at Heilsumeistaraskólinn.

Kristbjörg Kristmundsdóttir makes and offers Icelandic Flower Essences. For over 20 years Kristbjörg has developed and used the Essences in her work as a flower essence therapist and trainer of therapists. She is writing a book about the first 44 Icelandic Flower Essence plants that will be published in English. She is also one of the leading pioneers in organic farming and living in harmony with Mother Nature in Iceland. Kristbjörg Kristmundsdóttir is a natural physician, educated as a master herbalist, iridologist and naturopath at The School of Natural Medicine in USA. She has been trained as a yoga teacher and kundalini-meditation instructor in India and USA.
